Construction Litigation Lawyer – 5+ PQE (Birmingham/Leeds/Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Solicitor (5+ years PQE) to join a nationally recognised construction practice. The role can be based in Birmingham, Leeds or Manchester and offers the chance to work on high‑value building safety and fire remediation disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Advise major developers, housebuilders and construction clients on building safety and fire remediation issues.
• Handle construction and professional negligence disputes, including high‑value adjudications, arbitrations and court proceedings.
• Develop remediation procurement strategies and guide clients through evolving post‑Grenfell legislation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of legal and technical experts on complex projects.

Required profile

• 5+ years PQE in construction litigation.
• Proven experience handling contentious construction matters.
• Professional negligence experience (desirable).
• Strong commercial awareness and interest in regulatory and political issues affecting the built environment.
• Excellent client relationship and business development skills.
• Collaborative, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in growing the practice.
