Construction Manager – Office & Industrial Fit‑Out (Leeds)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Site Manager to lead a high‑profile office and industrial fit‑out project in Leeds. This short‑term contract (2‑3 months) requires a hands‑on leader who can take full responsibility for site operations, safety, and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the No.1 Site Manager, overseeing all aspects of project delivery.
• Plan, programme and coordinate site activities, managing schedules and resources.
• Lead subcontractors, monitor budgets and costs, and ensure progress aligns with the programme.
• Maintain quality standards, produce site reports and keep accurate documentation.
• Manage procurement, supply‑chain coordination and resolve site issues promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering office and industrial fit‑out projects.
• Strong project planning, programme management and commercial awareness.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, drawings, building regulations and procurement.
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems quickly and maintain momentum.
