Construction Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join a leading international retailer’s estate team at their Carlisle site. The role will drive building maintenance, fire safety and capital works across a busy operational estate, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new projects, conduct feasibility studies and develop business cases.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of capital and maintenance projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare tender packages, evaluate submissions and administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee contractors, consultants and suppliers, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
• Control budgets, monitor costs and report financial performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction project management within a client‑side environment.
• Resilient and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Interest in working for a leading retailer and delivering high‑quality outcomes.
