About the role
We are seeking a Construction Tutor to join our delivery team in Bedford. You will teach adult learners basic construction skills across multiple trades, combining hands‑on workshop sessions with classroom instruction.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver construction bootcamps and employability‑focused training.
- Teach fundamental skills in carpentry, plumbing, tiling and brickwork.
- Support and engage adult learners throughout their training journey.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress and attendance.
Required profile
- Background in any construction trade.
- Qualified teacher or trainer (AET, DET, PGCE or equivalent).
- Comfortable delivering instruction across multiple trades.
- Strong communication and learner‑engagement abilities.
