Consulting Director – Wealth & Asset Management

About the role

We are seeking a senior Consulting Director to lead strategic initiatives for top‑tier asset and wealth managers. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations and technology, working closely with C‑suite sponsors to shape the future of the industry.

Key responsibilities

• Design and redesign operating models, driving end‑to‑end transformation across front, middle and back office.
• Develop and execute vendor and outsourcing strategies, from selection through implementation.
• Lead data strategy, application architecture and AI use‑case development for client operations.
• Provide M&A support and execution within the asset‑management sector.
• Drive cost‑efficiency, operational excellence and quality‑assurance programmes.
• Generate ideas for senior client leadership on market expansion and product strategy.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering high‑quality consulting projects in wealth or asset management.
• Deep sector knowledge in at least one specialist area (e.g., operating model, data strategy, AI, outsourcing).
• Strong network building ability, either through business development or exceptional client delivery.
• Comfortable balancing delivery work with business‑building activities.
• Senior‑level experience (director or equivalent).
