Consultor de procesos bancarios

About the role

We are looking for a Banking Process Consultant to join Babel’s banking unit and support a strategic project for a major financial client. The consultant will gather functional requirements and design functional specifications that will drive new business functionalities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current office and commercial manager processes of the bank.
• Facilitate workshops with key users and business teams to capture functional requirements.
• Produce detailed functional documentation (AS‑IS / TO‑BE, functional specifications, use cases).
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure business needs are correctly translated into technology solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, manager experience and client satisfaction.
• Support validation, testing and functional deployment phases.
• Act as the primary liaison between business and technology, aligning solutions with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a functional or process consultant in the banking sector.
• Deep understanding of banking office and commercial manager processes.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering and functional documentation for transformation projects.
• Strong analytical mindset and a holistic view of the business.
• Excellent communication skills with business stakeholders.
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
