Content Manager – Localization (French Market)

About the role

Tripadvisor is seeking a Content Manager for its French market. The role will shape and deliver culturally‑aligned content that builds trust, engages users and drives conversion across the company’s travel platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Localize, write, edit and transcreate user‑facing copy, ensuring a clear, persuasive and locally‑first voice.
• Define and execute content strategy for high‑priority product features in partnership with product, UX, SEO and research teams.
• Manage AI‑native localisation workflows, design prompts for large language models and leverage machine‑translation to maintain quality at scale.
• Represent the traveller by synthesising local user research and market trends to challenge global assumptions.
• Initiate and support A/B tests on localized content to measure impact on conversion, engagement and traffic.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to embed content early in design and development cycles.
• Maintain brand voice and tone while working with translation vendors to optimise linguistic assets.
• Continuously monitor usability and quality, keeping the user experience fresh and relevant.

Required profile

• Proven experience creating and localising content for the French market.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data and testing to inform decisions.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with product, design, engineering and research partners.
• Fluency in French and English.

Required skills

• Experience with large language model (LLM) workflows and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with machine‑translation tools and processes.
• Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies for content optimisation.
