Contracts and Insurance Business Partner

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position supports a market‑leading global organisation operating in a highly regulated environment. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to manage contracts, oversee insurance administration and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and maintain commercial agreements, service contracts and related documentation.
• Identify contractual obligations, compliance requirements and commercial risks.
• Administer and update the contract management system, monitoring compliance and promoting best practice.
• Assist in resolving contractual disputes and issues.
• Coordinate insurance claims reporting, maintain accurate records of incidents, claims and policy documents.
• Serve as the primary contact for insurance‑related matters and review related documentation.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and international sanctions.
• Maintain corporate risk registers and support preparation of risk reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with multiple departments and produce clear, concise reports.

Required profile

• Previous experience in contracts and insurance functions, including contract drafting and review.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, commercial business practices and risk management.
• Knowledge of insurance processes and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Analytical, problem‑solving ability and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and produce clear documentation.

What we offer

• Competitive salary of £45,000‑£49,000 per annum.
• Fixed‑term contract for 12 months.
• Full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday office‑based role in Glasgow.
