Contracts Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our Logistics, Commodities and Services Delivery Partner programme in Bristol. Reporting directly to the Head of Contracts, you will oversee key elements of the LCST Delivery Partner Contract and support commercial delivery across the programme.

Key responsibilities

• Lead allocated elements of the LCST Delivery Partner Contract, including changes, commissioning activities and growth opportunities.
• Act as the primary commercial interface with MOD stakeholders and the Commissioning Management Organisation.
• Interpret contractual obligations, ensure compliance, and monitor deliverables, notices and escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate contract records, support audits, and manage contractual risks.
• Represent the Contracts function in programme working groups and governance forums.
• Assist with claims, disputes and formal customer correspondence while protecting commercial interests.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal and Programme Management teams.
• Provide contractual input to business cases, performance metrics and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree qualified or equivalent with relevant commercial experience.
• Proven experience in contract and commercial management, preferably within Defence, Government or complex service contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage contractual risks and support commercial reviews.
