Controller – Finance Business Partner for UK, Norway & Sweden

About the role

Based in Leeds, the Controller will act as the trusted finance partner for three lean legal entities operating in the United Kingdom, Norway and Sweden. You will translate financial data into actionable insights, support senior leadership and ensure compliance across multiple regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Managing Directors and local leadership to provide financial analysis and recommendations.
• Prepare timely management reports, budgets and forecasts in line with Group standards.
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, tax, audit and statutory requirements for all three entities.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, internal controls and cost management.
• Lead and develop the local finance team, fostering cross‑functional collaboration in an international environment.

Required profile

• Proven finance business partnering experience in a multi‑entity, international setting.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and controlling.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP for the UK, Norway and Sweden.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Leadership skills to develop a small, cross‑country finance team.
