Conveyancing Fee Earner – Residential Property Law

About the role

This position offers a chance to join a respected law firm in Gloucestershire, delivering practical and efficient conveyancing solutions for residential clients. You will work on a variety of property transactions, including leasehold, new builds, help‑to‑buy and shared ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and liaise with clients and referral partners throughout conveyancing matters.
• Manage cases from initiation to completion, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support business development activities.
• Meet monthly and year‑end fee targets.
• Participate in team meetings and keep files organised and up‑to‑date.
• Ensure compliance with firm standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in residential conveyancing.
• Proven track record handling freehold, leasehold, new‑build and mixed‑case transactions.
• Experience with lease extensions, variations, shared ownership, equity release and small‑development set‑ups.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Pro‑active, team‑oriented with the capacity to work independently.

Required skills

• Competence in using multiple legal case‑management systems.
• Strong analytical and data‑collation abilities.
