Conveyancing Paralegal – Residential Post‑Completion Specialist

About the role

Our client, a respected law firm in North West London, is looking for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to support a solicitor with post‑completion matters. This full‑time position offers the chance to deepen expertise in residential conveyancing within a professional and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Submit SDLT returns and AP1 applications
• Prepare and finalise Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and Land Registry applications
• Manage post‑completion formalities, including closing completed files
• Schedule deeds and reconcile accounts
• Handle discharge of registered charges
• Conduct legal research and produce reports as required
• Manage own workload efficiently with minimal supervision

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ residential conveyancing experience with strong post‑completion exposure (essential)
• Law degree (LLB), LPC/SQE, CILEX qualification, or equivalent legal qualification
• Excellent administrative and organisational abilities with high attention to detail
• Proactive, professional approach and ability to prioritise a busy workload
