Conveyancing Solicitor – 1-3 Years PQE

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Conveyancing Solicitor with 1‑3 years post‑qualification experience to join a fast‑growing residential property team in Brighton. The role offers the chance to manage a busy caseload while developing expertise in a supportive, high‑performing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion and post‑completion.
• Handle approximately 20‑25 new matters each month, ensuring efficient progress.
• Advise clients on freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new‑build transactions, shared ownership and government‑backed schemes.
• Conduct title investigations, resolve title issues and liaise with estate agents, lenders, brokers, developers and other solicitors.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and supporting documentation while maintaining compliance with SRA, AML and lender requirements.
• Deliver exceptional client service and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
• 1‑3 years PQE with residential conveyancing experience.
• Proven ability to independently manage a high‑volume caseload.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Commercially minded with a proactive problem‑solving approach.

Required skills

• Experience with case management systems and digital conveyancing platforms.
• Knowledge of SRA and AML compliance requirements.
