Conveyancing Solicitor/Paralegal – Flexible Working

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor or Paralegal to join our residential conveyancing team in Chelmsford. The role offers a competitive salary, bonus potential and flexible/hybrid working within a supportive, growth‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all stages of residential conveyancing from inception to post‑completion.
• Prepare and review documentation for freehold, unregistered freehold, leasehold, new build and shared ownership transactions.
• Handle re‑mortgages, transfers of equity and Help to Buy arrangements.
• Liaise with the Land Registry and submit applications on behalf of clients.
• Provide clear, timely communication to clients and stakeholders throughout the process.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential conveyancing, either as a solicitor or paralegal.
• Strong knowledge of freehold, leasehold and shared ownership conveyancing procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills and a client‑focused approach.
