Cook – School Kitchen (Kenilworth School)

About the role

Impact Food Group is seeking a Cook to join the kitchen team at Kenilworth School in Warwick. Working Monday to Friday, you will help deliver freshly prepared, high-quality meals for over 300 students and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare main meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients for a high-volume school kitchen (300+ meals).
• Assist the Chef Manager with daily kitchen operations and ensure food is served on time.
• Potentially operate the counter service and till.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and restaurant areas.

Required profile

• Experience as a cook, preferably in school or contract catering (not essential).
• Passion for cooking with fresh ingredients and delivering quality food.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
