Corporate & Commercial Solicitor

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to join our client’s legal team, primarily based in Devizes with occasional work in the London office. The role offers a full‑time, flexible schedule and the chance to develop expertise across a range of commercial law matters.

Key responsibilities

• Handle sale and purchase of businesses, including asset and share transactions.
• Advise on company structures, group reorganisations and corporate governance.
• Draft and negotiate partnership, shareholders’ and commercial contracts.
• Provide support on broader commercial matters as required by the department.
• Contribute to business development through networking, article writing and marketing activities.
• Assist in updating legal policies and practice notes for the team.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably in a regional or City office.
• Admission as a Solicitor qualified to practise in England & Wales with a current practising certificate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and commercial acumen.
