Corporate Commercial Solicitor – Senior Partner (Hybrid)

About the role

A leading Exeter law firm is seeking a Corporate Commercial Solicitor or Partner‑level lawyer to join its expanding corporate team. The role is senior from day one, offers hybrid working and a clear route to partnership or senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Advise SMEs, owner‑managed businesses, investors and growth‑stage companies on corporate and commercial matters.
• Handle mergers and acquisitions, business and share sales, corporate restructuring and governance.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, trading agreements, shareholder and investment agreements.
• Provide strategic business advisory services.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships and support junior lawyers.
• Contribute to the development and direction of the corporate department.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (England & Wales).
• Typically 3+ years post‑qualification experience in corporate/commercial law.
• Strong track record in the areas listed under responsibilities.
• No portable client following required.
• Motivated by long‑term progression and leadership opportunities.
