Corporate & International Tax Assistant Manager / Manager

About the role

Join a fast‑growing specialist tax advisory firm in Nottingham City Centre as an Assistant Manager or Manager within the Corporate & International Tax team. You will work on high‑quality advisory and compliance projects for a diverse client base across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver corporate tax advisory and compliance services.
• Support transactions and restructuring projects, including acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations, tax due diligence and demergers.
• Prepare and review complex tax computations and tax accounting disclosures.
• Advise on corporate interest restriction, group relief, loss planning and CFC matters.
• Build and maintain strong client and intermediary relationships.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and add value.
• Mentor junior team members and manage project delivery to deadlines.

Required profile

• 2+ years’ experience for Assistant Manager or 4+ years for Manager in a corporate tax role.
• Strong background in tax advisory and compliance.
• Professional qualification (ATT, CTA, ACA or equivalent).
• Confident client interaction and stakeholder management.
• Solid understanding of UK corporate tax and tax accounting principles.
• Excellent communication, organisation and project‑management abilities.
• Experience with Alphatax is beneficial but not essential.
