Corporate Lawyer – Immediate Start (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Lawyer to join a global law firm in London on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will hit the ground running, providing immediate and effective legal advice to an asset‑manager client.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on corporate matters to support the client’s operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
• Advise on corporate governance and risk‑management issues.
• Conduct legal research and deliver clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Offer practical solutions to complex legal challenges.

Required profile

• Relevant legal qualifications and professional accreditation.
• Strong experience in corporate law within the professional services industry.
• Proven ability to handle a variety of corporate legal matters.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
