Corporate Recovery Senior – Insolvency Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Recovery Senior to join a respected firm of Insolvency Practitioners in Bolton. You will take ownership of a varied corporate caseload, guiding each matter from appointment through to closure while working within a supportive and collaborative practice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a mixed portfolio of corporate insolvency appointments, including CVLs, MVLs, administrations and liquidations.
• Progress cases efficiently from appointment to closure, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Draft statutory documentation and reports for creditors, directors and other stakeholders.
• Liaise with directors, creditors, solicitors, agents and third‑party advisers.
• Mentor and support junior team members, sharing technical expertise.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues within cases.
• Collaborate closely with Insolvency Practitioners to optimise case progression and client service.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate insolvency or corporate recovery, managing cases independently from appointment to closure.
• Strong technical knowledge of insolvency legislation and procedures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Highly organised with the capacity to meet deadlines and juggle competing priorities.
• CPI or a similar insolvency qualification is advantageous but not essential.
