Corporate Tax Consultant

About the role

Join the EMEA Corporate Tax team of a global financial services firm to deliver high‑quality tax reporting and compliance across the UK and the wider EMEA region. You will work closely with tax, finance and wider business teams to manage risk and support strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage compliance, forecasting and provisioning for tax reporting within the UK and EMEA region.
• Calculate corporate income tax and deferred tax accounting entries and oversee tax disclosures in financial statements.
• Review effective tax rate calculations for IFRS and GAAP reporting.
• Submit corporate income tax returns and handle regulatory audit responses.
• Collaborate across tax, finance and wider teams to deliver projects and drive process improvements.
• Support and coach staff through technical and non‑technical training.

Required profile

• Fully qualified tax or accounting professional (CTA / CA / ACCA / ACA / CIMA).
• 5 to 7 years’ experience in a similar tax‑related role.
• Corporate tax experience is essential, ideally UK corporate tax.
• Strong tax reporting and compliance experience, including preparing and submitting tax returns.
• Exposure to financial‑statement tax disclosures.
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is highly advantageous.
