Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join a growing chartered accountancy firm in Bristol. You will lead the delivery of complex tax compliance and planning projects for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, while supporting the firm’s continued expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end tax compliance and planning engagements for SMEs, larger groups and corporate clients.
• Lead, mentor and review the work of the corporate tax team, fostering professional development.
• Provide sale‑side and buy‑side tax advice, supporting corporate finance transactions such as reconstructions, de‑mergers and reorganisations.
• Advise on specialised areas including capital allowances, R&D tax relief and other strategic tax initiatives.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified ACCA, ACA, ATT or CTA.
• Significant experience in corporate tax within a Top 4, Top 10, Top 50 or reputable independent accounting firm.
• Demonstrated managerial experience and a desire to progress within a growing practice.
