Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join our Birmingham office on a hybrid working model. The role offers exposure to a diverse client base, from start‑ups to FTSE‑listed multinationals, and the chance to develop expertise in corporate tax advisory and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tax advisory services to start‑ups, scale‑ups, private businesses and large multinationals.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing engagement, billing, cash collection and recovery opportunities.
• Provide tax compliance support using shared‑service teams and technology tools.
• Identify and communicate opportunities to enhance service delivery and generate additional revenue.
• Lead complex tax projects and ensure adherence to the firm’s quality‑control procedures.
• Collaborate regularly with senior managers, directors and partners.

Required profile

• In‑depth, up‑to‑date knowledge of corporation tax and ability to handle complex tax issues.
• Proven experience managing a client portfolio, including take‑on, billing and cash collection.
• Understanding of risk management and quality‑control processes within a professional services firm.
• Degree level education and/or CTA, ACA or equivalent qualification.
