Corporate Tax Manager – Professional Services Firm

About the role

The role involves leading corporate tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients within a leading professional services firm. You will work closely with clients on complex transactions and provide strategic tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Business acquisitions and sales, including SPAs and tax covenants
• Mergers, demergers and reorganisations
• Share buy‑backs, purchase of own shares and multiple completion contracts
• Share‑for‑share exchanges
• Tax‑advantaged share schemes such as EMI options
• Venture capital schemes including EIS/SEIS
• R&D and Creative Industries tax relief claims (e.g., video games tax relief)
• Capital allowances and intangible assets management
• Tax‑efficient profit extraction strategies

Required profile

• Strong background in corporate tax
• Excellent technical tax knowledge
• Proven client‑facing experience within a professional services firm
• Leadership and team management capabilities
• ATT or CTA qualification (or equivalent accounting qualification)
• Proactive problem‑solving approach
• Ability to contribute to business development activities
