Corporate Tax Senior Manager

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Senior Corporate Tax professional to lead the design and implementation of our client’s corporate tax operating procedures, risk management and service delivery framework across Yorkshire.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document and roll‑out standardised operating procedures for corporate tax computations and returns.
• Create work‑paper templates, checklists and data‑gathering toolkits for use across all client engagements.
• Optimise firm‑wide tax compliance and automation software, ensuring consistency across offices and teams.
• Educate staff and establish a framework for delivering advisory services.
• Develop the Corporate Tax Risk Framework and Quality Assurance policies.
• Implement control checks aligned with HMRC Professional Conduct in Taxation (PCRT) guidelines.
• Serve as the technical helpdesk for corporate tax queries across service lines.

Required profile

• CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Extensive post‑qualification experience in an accountancy or professional services environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax statutes, HMRC enquiry processes and penalty regimes.
• Proven track record of implementing internal procedures, tax templates and risk/compliance QA frameworks.
