About the role

The Corporate Tax Senior Manager will lead the delivery of high‑quality tax advisory and compliance services for a diverse portfolio of professional services clients. Based in Manchester, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to provide strategic tax planning and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive corporate tax advisory and compliance services to a varied client base.
• Supervise and review work prepared by junior tax team members, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Provide strategic tax planning advice aligned with clients’ business objectives.
• Manage and nurture client relationships through proactive communication and excellent service.
• Identify business development opportunities and support the growth of the tax department.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present reports, proposals, and updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver holistic solutions.

Required profile

• Professional tax or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CTA).
• Extensive experience in corporate tax advisory and compliance within the professional services sector.
• Strong analytical ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and motivating junior team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on identifying improvement and growth opportunities.
