About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Tax Manager / Associate Director to lead tax compliance and advisory services for our professional services clients across the Northwest. The role combines technical tax expertise with client relationship management in a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee corporate tax compliance processes, ensuring accurate and timely filing of returns.
• Provide strategic tax advisory and planning services to clients in various sectors.
• Review and finalise tax computations prepared by junior team members.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and deliver practical solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering their professional growth.
• Maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Stay updated on tax legislation changes and advise clients accordingly.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated client services.

Required profile

• Professional tax qualification (e.g., CTA) or equivalent.
• In‑depth knowledge of corporate tax regulations and compliance.
• Proven experience in tax advisory and planning.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on identifying client opportunities.
