Corporate Tax Solicitor (2+ PQE) – Glasgow

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Solicitor with at least two years post‑qualification experience to join our Glasgow team. You will advise clients on the tax implications of corporate, commercial and property transactions, working closely with our corporate and commercial colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on tax structuring of corporate transactions and reorganisations.
• Support business sales, acquisitions and investment projects.
• Provide guidance on LBTT, SDLT, VAT and other transaction‑related tax issues.
• Assist with employee share schemes and employment tax matters.
• Draft and review tax‑related documentation.
• Contribute to client training, seminars and legal updates.

Required profile

• 2+ years PQE in corporate, commercial, tax or transactional work.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing a varied workload.
• Clear and effective communication with clients and colleagues.
• Commercially minded and practical problem‑solver.
• Interest in developing specialist tax expertise.
