Cost Controller (12‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

TechnipFMC is seeking a Cost Controller on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to support its UK projects. The role focuses on estimating total project cost at completion, validating profitability forecasts and ensuring reliable financial information throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue sales invoices for UK projects and manage timely invoicing.
• Perform credit control and analyse all costs charged to projects, ensuring correct recording and allocation.
• Match and post cost of sales in line with invoicing, and analyse work‑in‑progress against each project.
• Liaise with Project Managers to report project performance and participate in project meetings to maintain financial control.
• Assist the project team with cost‑control activities, prepare monthly financial reports for senior management, and support budget/forecast reporting.
• Prepare working capital statements, balance‑sheet reconciliations, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Generate quotes for approval, maintain the project work breakdown structure (WBS) and associated tasks.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting background with experience in a similar cost‑control role.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Team player capable of meeting tight deadlines.
• Proficient PC skills and experience using SAP.
