Counter Fraud Solicitor – Media City (Hybrid)

About the role

HFPeople is seeking a Counter Fraud Solicitor to join its award‑winning Counter Fraud team based in Media City. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while handling complex, litigated fraud claims for insurance clients across the UK and Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of complex, litigated non‑DA fraud matters, primarily hourly‑rate motor fraud claims.
• Progress claims efficiently, ensuring compliance with client expectations and service level agreements.
• Maintain accurate records in the firm’s case‑management system and meet MI reporting requirements.
• Conduct advocacy at applications and case management conferences as required.
• Stay up‑to‑date with legal developments and share insights with colleagues and clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling a varied caseload in a similar legal or claims environment.
• Background in counter‑fraud insurance work or personal injury claims (defendant experience desirable).
• Open to solicitors, legal executives, or experienced non‑qualified claims handlers.
• Strong organisational abilities, proactive attitude and target‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable with advocacy and public speaking.
