Counterbalance Forklift Driver with Double Forklift Experience

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver with double‑fork handling skills to join a respected client in Bedford. You will work in a busy warehouse environment, operating specialised equipment and supporting daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklifts, including handling two pallets simultaneously with double‑fork attachments.
• Support warehouse activities such as picking, packing and moving stock.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety while operating equipment.

Required profile

• Valid, in‑date accredited forklift licence (refreshers available on site).
• Minimum two years of forklift operating experience.
• Previous experience in a warehouse setting.
• Physically fit, reliable and punctual.
• Strong communication and a positive work ethic.

Required skills

• Counterbalance forklift operation.
• Double‑fork handling (two pallets at a time).
• Warehouse picking and packing.
• Health and safety compliance.
