Court Of Protection Solicitor 0-3 PQE Swindon

About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified or junior solicitor to join a nationally recognised Court of Protection team in Swindon. You will work alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers, handling complex matters that directly impact clients' lives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the management of Property and Financial Affairs Deputyship matters.
• Manage your own caseload under appropriate supervision.
• Prepare Court of Protection applications and annual Deputy Reports.
• Support day‑to‑day management of clients' financial affairs, including budgeting, payments and property transactions.
• Assist with the administration of Personal Injury Trusts.
• Build strong relationships with clients, families, case managers, healthcare professionals and other contacts.
• Work closely with paralegals and internal/external legal teams.
• Attend client meetings and visits where appropriate.
• Develop expertise in statutory wills, care funding and benefits.
• Support business development and client relationship initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor status in England & Wales.
• 0‑3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Interest in Court of Protection work and a collaborative mindset.
