Court of Protection Solicitor – Hybrid, Plymouth

About the role

The firm is expanding its specialist Court of Protection and Private Client team in Plymouth. This hybrid position offers the chance to work on diverse Mental Capacity Act matters, supporting vulnerable adults, children and the elderly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Court of Protection cases, including deputyships and trustee matters.
• Provide legal advice to vulnerable clients and their families.
• Liaise with care providers, financial advisers and other professionals.
• Visit clients in care settings and at home as required.
• Assist with financial planning and long‑term arrangements for clients.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (NQ applicants welcome).
• Experience in Court of Protection or private client/family law desirable.
• Strong interest in Mental Capacity and vulnerable client work.
• Excellent communication and client care abilities.
