About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary students in Hemel Hempstead. This position offers immediate start dates and flexible daily rates, ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise classes during teacher absence, keeping students on task.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and uphold school expectations.
  • Deliver pre‑prepared lesson material – no planning or marking required.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff and support the smooth running of the school day.

Required profile

  • A degree or relevant experience working with young people.
  • Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability and professionalism.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
