Cover Supervisor – Flexible Supply & Long-Term Opportunities

About the role
Vida Education is seeking Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Lancaster. The role offers flexible, supply‑based assignments ranging from day‑to‑day cover to short‑term and long‑term placements.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise classes during teacher absence.
- Deliver pre‑set lesson plans to maintain learning continuity.
- Maintain classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
- Support pupils with their work as required.
Required profile
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school setting.
- Confidence in managing a classroom environment.
- Strong communication and behaviour management abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- A positive, professional attitude.
