Cover Supervisor – Flexible Supply Teaching in Slough

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools in Slough on a flexible, day‑by‑day basis. This role allows you to choose the days you work while gaining experience across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑set lesson material and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Keep students engaged, focused, and motivated throughout the session.
• Provide support to pupils who need additional help.
• Follow each school’s policies, including safeguarding procedures.
• Offer clear feedback to the regular teaching staff after each placement.

Required profile

• Recent classroom experience in the UK (Cover Supervisor, ECT or qualified teacher).
• Strong behaviour management and communication abilities.
• Willingness to hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
