Cover Supervisor – Flexible Supply Teaching

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support a growing number of secondary schools in Slough. This temporary supply role offers you the freedom to choose the days you work while gaining experience across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑set work and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Keep students engaged, focused, and motivated throughout the lesson.
• Provide support to pupils who need additional help.
• Follow each school’s policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Offer clear feedback to the regular teaching staff after each placement.

Required profile

• Recent classroom experience in the UK.
• Strong behaviour management and communication abilities.
• Willingness to hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
