Cover Supervisor – Flexible Supply Teaching

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support a growing number of secondary schools in Slough. This temporary supply role offers you the freedom to choose the days you work while gaining experience across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑set work and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Keep students engaged, focused, and motivated throughout the lesson.
- Provide support to pupils who need additional help.
- Follow each school’s policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Offer clear feedback to the regular teaching staff after each placement.
Required profile
- Recent classroom experience in the UK.
- Strong behaviour management and communication abilities.
- Willingness to hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
