Cover Supervisor – Full-time (East London)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to provide classroom cover across schools in the E6 area and surrounding locations. This full‑time, temporary position runs until the end of the academic year and offers a daily rate starting at £90.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lesson plans and maintain classroom order in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Support pupils with a range of individual needs, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and complete all required safeguarding checks.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and flexible with a strong can‑do attitude.
• Experience working with children and young people.
• A degree and up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
