Cover Supervisor – Immediate Start in West London

About the role
Prospero Teaching is partnering with a range of welcoming secondary schools in West London to find enthusiastic Cover Supervisors. You will step into classrooms when the regular teacher is absent, delivering pre‑planned lessons and supporting pupils across a variety of subjects.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons and supervise classes in the teacher’s absence.
- Support pupils of all abilities, including those with EAL and SEN.
- Lead intervention sessions and small‑group activities to boost learning outcomes.
- Maintain a positive, productive classroom environment.
- Assist with extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community when appropriate.
Required profile
- Genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their learning.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one) and two professional references.
Required skills
- Basic safeguarding awareness (training within the last 12 months is desirable).
