About the role
The Cover Supervisor provides essential classroom coverage when regular teachers are absent, ensuring that pupils continue with prepared work and remain focused on their tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Cover lessons when regular teachers are absent.
- Supervise pupils as they complete prepared exercises.
- Maintain classroom order and keep pupils on task.
Required profile
- Excellent communication with accurate spelling and grammar.
- Recent experience working in secondary schools (Key Stage 3‑5).
- Commitment to professional development and a passion for working with children.
- Strong safeguarding awareness.
