Cover Supervisor – Secondary School (Windsor & Maidenhead)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support secondary school classes in Windsor and Maidenhead when teachers are absent. This role offers hands‑on classroom experience, ideal for graduates or anyone considering a teaching career. You will help maintain a productive learning environment and ensure lesson continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain positive behaviour and keep students engaged in lessons.
• Deliver and supervise pre‑prepared work set by the class teacher.
• Build strong, professional relationships with students and staff.
• Uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Experience working in a school or educational environment.
• GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
• Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• A positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting young people.
• Confidence in managing behaviour and creating a productive learning atmosphere.
• Ability to commute to Windsor and Maidenhead.
