Craft Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical Role

About the role

Join Budweiser Brewing Group at the Samlesbury brewery in Preston, where you’ll maintain and optimise world‑class brewing and packaging equipment for iconic brands such as Stella Artois, Budweiser and Leffe. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience across fast‑moving packaging lines, brewing systems, refrigeration plants and boiler operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise cutting‑edge brewing and packaging machinery.
• Troubleshoot automated equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to boost production efficiency.
• Work with refrigeration plants, compressors, and boiler systems.

Required profile

• Electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with experience in high‑speed manufacturing environments.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills on automated systems, including PLCs, motors, sensors and inverters.
• Safety‑conscious mindset with knowledge of electrical isolation procedures.
