Creative Lead

About the role

Aperture, a performance marketing and creative consultancy founded in 2022, is hiring a Creative Lead to lead and develop its performance creative function. You will combine creative strategy, customer psychology, copywriting, experimentation and performance analysis to raise the quality of creative work across the business. The role is remote-first, with work from anywhere in the UK timezone.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Creative Strategists and lead senior creative conversations with clients.
• Set the standard for creative strategy, copy and briefing, and write and edit hooks, scripts, headlines and messaging.
• Use AI to improve research, ideation, analysis and iteration, and build clear hypotheses and structured creative experiments.
• Review performance and turn results into the next round of ideas.
• Raise the quality bar across UGC, video, static and creator-led work, and build simple systems for capturing learnings.
• Spot trends and cultural shifts early, and turn customer research, jobs to be done and performance data into creative angles.
• Work closely with Pod Leads and Growth teams to connect creative with wider performance.

Required profile

• Strong experience in performance creative or creative strategy.
• Deep familiarity with internet culture and emerging trends.
• Experience managing and developing creative people.
• Experience in apps, subscriptions, DTC or other performance-driven businesses is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Exceptional copywriting skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking, and strong client-facing communication.
• Active use of AI in the creative workflow.
• Deep understanding of customer psychology, jobs to be done, experimentation and performance data.
• Excellent knowledge of Meta, TikTok, UGC and short-form creative.
