Credit Controller – 6 Month FTC, £31k

About the role

Our client in Camberley is seeking a Credit Controller on a six‑month fixed‑term contract to manage a portfolio of around 1,000 accounts and drive the collection of outstanding debtor balances.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a ledger of approximately 1,000 customer accounts.
• Proactively collect debtor balances via phone, email and letters.
• Resolve outstanding account queries directly with customers.
• Chase customer debt, follow up with email and issue LBA’s where required.
• Reconcile accounts based on customer requests.
• Prepare and send dunning letters, statements and copy invoices.
• Handle incoming post and franking of outgoing post.
• Upload invoices to customer portals and produce ad‑hoc consolidated invoices.
• Provide credit checks for new and existing customers for manager approval.
• Release orders on hold in Oracle and ServiceNow daily and monitor status.
• Resolve unallocated payments and process refunds.
• Prepare legal paperwork when necessary.
• Update out‑of‑date Direct Debit mandates in Oracle.
• Cover colleagues’ customer accounts when they are out of office.

• Minimum GCSE in Mathematics (grade 4‑6, equivalent to B‑C).
