Cruise Shore Excursion Assistant

About the role

The Cruise Shore Excursion Assistant supports the planning and delivery of shore excursions for cruise guests. Based in Cheltenham, the role combines on‑site coordination with remote tasks, ensuring smooth communication with partners and accurate guest information.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with excursion bookings and prepare guest information materials.
• Communicate itineraries, updates, and changes to guests and partners.
• Coordinate with local tour providers, transport services, and internal teams.
• Respond to guest inquiries, track attendance and feedback, and update internal systems.
• Help maintain safety and quality standards for all excursions.
• Maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement of excursion offerings.

Required profile

• Experience in customer service or hospitality with a friendly, solution‑focused approach.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities, including schedule management and data entry.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with guests, colleagues, and external partners.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, balancing on‑site duties and remote tasks.
• Calm under pressure, with good time‑management and multitasking capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software and reservation or booking systems.
