CSCS Card Labourer – Site Delivery & Setup (Portsmouth)

About the role

Responsive Personnel are partnering with a leading site service company to recruit CSCS Card Labourers for permanent positions in Portsmouth. You will be responsible for receiving delivery vehicles, off‑loading goods and positioning them within houses and flats, while ensuring safety and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Meet delivery vehicles at assigned sites and unload goods.
• Place items into the correct houses or flats according to instructions.
• Take photographic evidence of completed deliveries.
• Communicate clearly with site teams and clients.
• Collect co‑working labourer on route to the site when required.
• Attend a paid 5‑day training course prior to starting.

Required profile

• Valid CSCS card (CITB certified).
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• Reliable, punctual and presentable with strong customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 2 hours from home.

Required skills

What we offer

• Daily pay of £110‑£130 (Monday‑Friday, start times from 6 am).
• Paid training (£400) plus fuel allowance of £0.25 per mile.
• Mileage reimbursement at 25p per mile (excluding first 30 miles).
• Progression to enhanced ‘Platinum Scheme’ and subcontracting after 12 weeks.

• Requirement to provide and wear own PPE (safety boots, hard hat, hi‑vis vest/jacket, gloves).
