Curriculum Manager – Construction & Technology

About the role

The role is based within an established Further Education provider and leads the Construction & Technology curriculum. You will be responsible for shaping the learning experience, driving student success and supporting the growth of a vocational department.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Construction & Technology curriculum provision.
• Drive student achievement, retention and progression.
• Line‑manage teaching and support staff.
• Ensure high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment.
• Develop curriculum plans that meet employer and learner needs.
• Manage staffing, resources and budgets effectively.
• Build relationships with employers and industry partners.
• Promote continuous improvement and curriculum growth.

Required profile

• Experience in Further Education leadership or curriculum management.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and curriculum planning.
• Previous teaching experience.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Passion for improving learner outcomes.
