Customer Advisor - Private Medical Insurance

About the role

As a Health Claims Specialist you will support customers who contact us about their private medical insurance cover and treatment options. You will review policy information, explain coverage and help customers access the care they need.

Key responsibilities

• Support customers with health insurance claims and treatment enquiries.
• Resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism, using judgement to assess claims.
• Decide whether treatment is covered under the policy and explain decisions clearly.
• Help customers access the right specialists, hospitals and treatment pathways.
• Work closely with colleagues and healthcare providers to deliver the best outcomes.

Required profile

• Enjoy helping people and building relationships.
• Can balance empathy with decision‑making.
• Enjoy solving problems and taking ownership.
• Pay attention to detail and can interpret information confidently.
• Insurance or financial services experience is a bonus but not essential.

• Starting salary between £26,900 and £33,885 per year.
