Quality Improver – Part‑time (3 days/week)

About the role

Lead quality investigations across the Packaging and Distribution Group, ensuring compliance, timely completion and effective corrective actions. The part‑time role works three days a week and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Represent QA in NCR, quality feedback, customer complaint and SNC investigations, performing root‑cause analysis and reporting.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement projects, develop documentation and training material, and monitor effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
• Act as Risk Assessment Lead and team member, support ECO change analysis, and guide CAPA activities.
• Review quality metrics, trend data and support GMP improvement projects, including technical report writing and procedure creation.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, responsible with good written and verbal communication.
• Organised, able to work independently or within a team and prioritize workload.
• Full, current driving licence and flexibility to work across UK sites.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO14971, ISO13485 and GMP requirements for medical devices.
• Experience with CAPA, risk assessment, root‑cause analysis and quality improvement tools.
• Computer literate – GPS, Baan, Red Prairie, Agile and Microsoft Office.
